Affray

I don't mean to sound like Affray, but I also don't ever get any trick-or-treaters at my house because I live on a dead end road. I usually travel to my grandpa's house to hand out candy, but I think I might change it up and go to my sister's house this Halloween.

There's nothing wrong with sounding like me.

I work on nightshift, so there's no way I will get to see any cool costumes or hand out candy this year. It sucks, but c'est la vie.

No one comes to my house even if I'm home during the right time, which is also a bummer.

Work.

Work clothes.

Neck, eyebrows, and male feet.

Necks are super sexualised, and I've gotten a half chub a few times from certain sets of eyebrows.

Though I imagine the eyebrows only work if they're part of an attractive face.

Depends on the day and how hard they make me laugh.

Sometimes I get genuine enjoyment from how fucked some of their antics are.

I originally said besides working, but okay.

There are things other than work?

This summer I'll be working and stewing about how criminally underpaid and underappreciated I am by my employers.

So pretty much the usual.

I do that whenever I try to understand how an arbitrary mass of different kinds of cells somehow has formed consciousness and is this thing I call "me".

Yeah, it's kind of a mind bender to try and comprehend how and why we even have the capacity to be self aware and directly focus on understanding our sense of self.

I read somewhere that it can take as little as one hundred connected neurons to achieve consciousness, which is a way fucking lower number than I ever would have thought. We all know that neurons are just transmitters/relays for electrical impulses from themselves to whatever else they are connected to. Which lead me to a thought. If say a billion people on Earth all had radios that were on the same channel and could communicate freely between one another and were tasked to perform the same function as neurons (transmit information/stimuli), could that closed system potentially achieve some form of consciousness?

Glad to hear she's getting help now, and that it's working for her Affray.

 

After catching up on my dental costs I still have money in the bank, hopefully by summer I will be motoring around on two wheels. Still have to go back norh to visit the folks and pick a few things up from the rez, but overall things are pretty good.

If you get mobile by the summer you'll have to come to my place sometime, I plan on having a few get togethers for my peeps.

I know I've been a shitty friend overall and haven't come to you or done much to get together, but I've been more busy over the past few years than ever before in my life. Once I get my shit together I fully intend to be a bit more outgoing with neglected chums like yourself.

I started Therapy for my anxiety, College is going well, my job is still really good and fun, I saw a really awesome movie last night (Jordan Peele's Us), and I'mma finally start trying to get back into shape! All in all, can't complain

My wife goes to a therapist to talk about her anxiety/depression and it's been working really well.

Her overall outlook on life has changed for the better pretty radically since she's been going, so I suggest sticking with it if you get even the smallest bit of help or guidance.

I mean if I'm going to have problems they may as well be trivial ones.
