So since I have to practice my German I started reading this HUGE book by B. Hennen, called "The Elves". And after years of being let down by nonsense, repetitive and badly written fantasy books, I finally found something which could really give me that "I want to read the whole saga although is around 10 thousand pages long" feeling again.

Does anyone of you know this author already? If not, I can definitely advise him...at least it's worth a try

After ages of confinement in my old sketchbooks, I finally hanged some of my works on the wall and took a selfie with them

I just loved it, I'm actually planning to watch it again...usually sequels let me down a bit, this one didn't.

What sort of stuff do you create?

I usually draw a lot. Or I sing, write or play music. I have a ton of self-confidence issues which brought me to serious problems in the past, and after trying everything to come out of them I've found out that surrounding myself with my own art remembers me that I'm actually good at something

I tend to seek out my friends if I don't feel so well. Not to talk about it necessarily but when they make their normal stupid jokes I already feel better. Sometimes I need some time to wallow in my misery first.

Yeah well it's not that one has always to be alright, everyone has bad moments and I've been spending some days (waaay too many) commiserating myself as well but I don't like the negative mentality of those who think that those moments are never going to end and that there's nothing on earth worth doing which can brighten up the day a little

Sometimes I'm almost ashamed of feeling sad and depressed when there are tons of people out there who live in an awful situation.

Since now I learned how to post pictures (maybe), this is one with my "true colours"

Hi everyone my name's Aster and I'm Italian.

I'm a literature student, that means book worm: I read basically everything interesting I can put my hands on. My favourite genre is fantasy, my favourite book ever is The Lord of the Rings and I'm between those who pray Odin every day for letting Martin live to finish his books.

I enjoy gaming quite a lot (mainly PC and PlayStation), even if since I've got to choose between gaming and graduating I'm forcing myself not to get a PS3 and, you know, screw the rest however, if some of you didn't get to hate League of Legends yet, let me know.

I love mangas and I was lucky (or noob) enough to discover the existence of online scans only AFTER filling up an entire library with volumes...as for other comics, I'm working on it

Now to the trend topic, TV shows: I'm not a huge fan of series, but there are some I really enjoyed. I'm currently watching Vikings, Agents of Shield, Star Trek (yeah, well, kinda late for "start" watching Star Trek but hey, my parents weren't even planning to have me when it begun! ) and The Big Bang Theory. No, I don't like neither Game of Thrones (boooring!) nor Breaking Bad (I've tried, I swear, but I fell asleep after the first ten minutes).

Oh, and I'm a huge fan of mythology. Don't know how nerd it is, but it would be cool to meet someone who likes it too!
