Yoga's good for the soul as well, but I suppose that can be said of all exercise.

Well, you gotta start somewhere.  If it helps, youtube the exercise you are interested in doing to get the correct form.  Then you wont feel awkward doing the same exercise in front of others.

Seriously. When I'm in good enough shape to exercise on my feet again, I'm gonna load up some Zumba on YouTube.

I've been kinda half-assed working out the last couple of months, mostly to try and gain some weight. All I have is some free weights, so it's things like squats, deadlifts, and bent over rows. My goal is to do 30 minutes, 3 times a week. In reality I'm doing it like once a week. Really need to pick up on that.

Do yoga and go to the gym. They are both good and for different reasons. Also try tracking workouts with a heart rate monitor. I have headphones that keep my pulse rate and also inform me what workout zone I'm in while listening to music. The app on my phone also shows me a graph of the whole work out so I can see how long my heart rate was in different zones.
