If earthlings were able to make another planet livable, and plenty of people you knew lived on said planet, would you be willing to move there?

What's something funny that no one should ever say to their therapist?

#106316 Time Travel

Do you think it's possible?

If so, I want to go back to when JFK was still alive in order to stop Lee Harvey Oswald from assassinating him.

My "!" looks like a baseball bat.

I know we have a thread about what music we listen to, but I want a thread about instruments.

Do you know how to play any musical instruments?

#106967 Chaotic Countries

I know what Wikipedia is, but contrary to popular belief, it doesn't have an article on everything. There are a few things about certain countries that I still don't understand. Australia - Is gun ownership allowed whatsoever? Why is same sex marriage so divided? North Korea - Why does their leader hate every other country and his own people? U.K. - Had the UKIP ever won any elections? Why is Northern Ireland separate from regular Ireland? U.S. - What is wrong with rewriting a 300 year old constitution?

#106774 What upcoming movies are you excited for?

Posted by Capsicum Annuum on 04 March 2017 - 08:50 AM in Misc. Movies and T.V.

I am also excited about Kong: Skull Island as long as it's not four hours long this time around. Star Wars, Wonder Woman, and Power Rangers are also worth mentioning.

Where?

#105616 Rogue One

What are your thoughts? Should we watch it or wait for the real next episode?

#104574 Silent Hill

Has anyone ever played any of these games? Which one is the best? I'm starting  to  get into horror games...

Depends what you're into. There is a huge variety.
Sex comedy?
Slapstick?
Dark comedy?
Buddy comedy?
Feel good/slice of life?
Horror?
Action?
Parody?
I could recommend movies all night but would be more helpful if you can narrow down your favorites. Got any examples?

Just a comedy that I most likely have not seen before. If I had to pick three of those, I would say action, feel good, &
Slapstick. I really prefer older movies. I like some horror comedies too though. Do you know of any movies like this that I most likely have not seen?

#107437 Smart Products

I feel like robots will eventually take over every human job. Technology is both good and bad. People are becoming increasingly lazy as time goes on.

#104602 Silent Hill

Posted by Capsicum Annuum on 07 November 2016 - 08:47 PM in Video Games

I really liked Silent Hill for the original games, but a lot of the public opinion is the games past Silent Hill 3 are trash. I've personally only played Homecoming past 3, and I actually quite liked it.

I personally prefer Silent Hill 2, but Silent Hill 1 would be a great introduction for you.

Can I start with Silent Hill 2 or do I have to play the first one to understand it?

#106830 Doom HD

Posted by Capsicum Annuum on 08 March 2017 - 06:47 PM in Video Games

I'm not sure. I'll load it up in a bit and find out.

I hate to pester you about it, but the original Doom game was where I got my sadist personality from. It helps me have an escape from my fucked up life to play games like this. Have you managed to create any levels yet Spleen?

#106768 Doom HD

Posted by Capsicum Annuum on 03 March 2017 - 06:00 PM in Video Games

Has anyone here played the new HD version of Doom? If so, is it possible to create levels in this version?

#104665 Jailhouse Rock

Posted by Capsicum Annuum on 12 November 2016 - 09:43 AM in Everything Else

Never been arrested, no. I took a tour of our local police facility when I was a wee lad and it did look quite clean. If I remember the food resembled that of a high school cafeteria.

But our city isn't huge by any means. Maybe 20k people now.

You mean you're not from Minneapolis?

#104651 Jailhouse Rock

Never been to jail in my life, but I heard the food there tastes good. Could someone explain to me what prison cuisine is like?

More moderate than I thought. I still wonder one thing though...

Who will be the Democratic nominee in 2020?

#107644 The Mask Reboot

Posted by Capsicum Annuum on 02 May 2017 - 10:42 AM in Comics, Books, and Graphic Novels

Would the mask give Hulk superpowers if he wore it? I'm not sure I understand the effects on people who are not the original guy in the mask.
