#77113 Its been years

Posted by Paranormalist on 06 August 2014 - 07:41 PM in Tabletop Games

I would love to game again, but IRL I've no one to play with. If anyone needs an extra player for an online game, I am LFG! :-)

Would it be in poor form to post to this post's topic now that the subject has switched around? Still learning forum etiquette.

#77093 (comics) Scott Pilgrim series: just started reading and already love it

Posted by Paranormalist on 06 August 2014 - 06:48 PM in Comics, Books, and Graphic Novels

I enjoyed the movie before I read the books... then I LOVED the books and disliked the movie.

The books span months and help the romance blossom, where as the movie spans the course of maybe a WEEK and just makes Scott look like a pathetic guy following a bitchy girl.... It made more sense, really, for Movie Scott to end up with Knives. They actually had common interests, character development, and at the end of the film, it came full circle when they both fought the main bad guy together, similarly to how they played the game in the first act. It's as if the writers and director decided they'd focus on their OTP.

#77084 Sword Art Online II

Posted by Paranormalist on 06 August 2014 - 06:37 PM in Anime

I enjoyed season one, parts one and two. This season, I just want to push Kirito's storyline to the side and watch the new female character. She is arguably the the most interesting character in the show!

Kirito just seems OP, and a blank slate.

Very steampunk,I like!

#77023 when did you lose your innocence

Posted by Paranormalist on 06 August 2014 - 05:03 PM in Everything Else

To jump right in,  turned my vCard in at 16.

But arguably,  I was very innocent minded until I was 22. That's when my innocence goggles fell off.

Just saying, you're signature gif makes me lol.

#76938 Pathfinder

Posted by Paranormalist on 06 August 2014 - 02:01 PM in Tabletop Games

Agreed, though I think that the Rogue class is OP. It definitely improves the role playing aspect. What campaign did you run, one of the books or one of your own?

#76932 Pathfinder

I've hosted a few sessions and played as well,  I actually prefer Pathfinder over 3.5!

Browsing apps tend to be easier on my data plan! XD

It does seem pretty easy to use. I primarily use my cell phone for Internet browsing, does this forum have an application associated with it?

(Edited due to swipe-to-text technology not working properly)

Hello forum! Looking forward to participating. First time forum user, so I gotta get used to some stuff first, of course.
