#26662 Playing through FFIX again

You guys need to man up >.> When I first got a PS2, I only got one game for it. An RPG called Summoner. My parents neglected to buy me a memory card, so I couldn't save the game.

I completed it by leaving the console on overnight for 3-4 days total, and I didn't die ONCE because no respawn system, no ability to save, no nothing.

THAT is true terror >.> especially when a certain plot device left you unable to block enemy attacks because you no longer had a shield/the ability to powergrip.

i played PSO for a very long time...

#21521 The next computer straining game

Posted by LD50 on 18 September 2012 - 03:51 PM in Video Games

hell if i know. i guess EA was so worried about the game not falling on it's ass they wanted a known team to handle MP (D.I.C.E.). the single player was done by Danger Close, a studio you may remember such classics as: ... other medal of honor offshoots?

#21516 The next computer straining game

Posted by LD50 on 18 September 2012 - 03:46 PM in Video Games

Medal of Honor did use two engines. a modified Unreal 3 for the single player portion and Frostbite for multiplayer.
