With a change of lifestyle and what not, I realized I had a LOT of free time on my hands.. So, about a week ago I was craving a new mmorpg.. If I couldn't find a decent new one, I'd be willing to go back to the good ol' WoW (which is what I've ended up doing now anyway.. Let me know if any of you play 
)
What I DID try was Aria Games' Aura Kingdom.
It is basically a typical Anime mmo, with bright colours, cuteness and attempts at innovative stuff.
What you end up doing is cursing the bugs, delays and being envious of all the shit you're supposed to buy in the item mall, but couldn't possibly afford 
;
I did try to buy like the cheapest amount of Aria points available. I spent fucking days trying to pay for that shit, but due to errors from my computer and a slow ass paypal process... I gave up.
So, yeah, this was sort of a rant.. but I would also like to hear if any of you have had similar experiences with new/old mmo's.

I gave it a try, I think it just has a really high intro curve if you don't know anyone else playing.
I played a lot of Runescape. >.>

I think I still have game time on WoW. Everyone here that plays on and off is on ghostlands.US.
Eve Online seems like a lot of fun, but I just can't seem to get pulled into it.
If an mmo doesn't make you actually try it, it might not be worth it xD But EVE was extremely popular for a while. I don't know the numbers now, but for a sci-fi/space it's pretty cool
If I really think back, It all started for me with RUNESCAPE o_o; Quickly followed by RAGNAROK online for years haha

Oh my the sims! DO I HAVE A LOT OF HOURS IN THAT OR WHAT!
I am guilty of spending like half of those hours purely on character creation >____> When I played the sims 3 PETS.. there were a lot of perfectly modified horsies and dogs.. *twiddles thumbs* I'm adult... I promise.....

It's one of those MMOs that is free to play, but if you want to... not suck, you're going to have to drop bank on it. The endgame is almost completely designed for paying players, and PVP is pointless unless you throw a large amount of money at it.
It's neat-looking and it plays quite well, it's just let down by that.
^Amazed that you always know your shit about any game. xD! Just thought it was worth mentioning. :3

Okay, so.. the monvie has a few flaws. All movies do, however this is a FASCINATING MOVIE. I'm really a goofball when it comes to science, but gawd. The only thing I would see as far fetched were the airborne nanomites... Didn't really care about the spesifics.
Y'all should watch it.
Also I changed my steam name to Kate Mara, because she is cute. Amiright? >_>

Hi! I'm very new, but I would just like to say that reading your "thing" was amazing. You seem attentive to detail and I agree that such an epic battle scene in the beginning of it deserves a moments pause, or self reflection.
I also see it has been a while since this was posted so I am sure you sorted it out and I hope you are still writing!

Seriously the movie does have many flaws and I was probably just in a happy-go-lucky mood when I saw it xD
Where sci-fi movies are concerned I'm less judgemental because I just love all the effects and all they do haha
