So I'm happy because I got a lot of compliments on WoW tonight. It was a very proactive night for me. I hope I can keep the streak up.

 

But that's not all that I was happy about. Tonight my girlfriend surprised me with a late birthday gift. She had ordered it before my birthday but didn't realize the process was so long.

 

She got me a jersey of my favorite LoL team, Immortals. Very, very freaking cool. Let me fucking tell you guys, you meet a girl that appeals to the nerd in you... You fucking keep her. I don't care if she is missing all her teeth or has two lazy eyes, a hump or is Sarah Jessica Parker -  that broad is a keeper.

Say hello to my official Legion main. I thought I'd snap a photo of my new sluttymog for her.

 

 

I thought hard about it and even took in consideration Artifact weapons and resto is what I want to do. This toon will get the bulk of my attention and gearing up focus. I chose druid because well, they have four specs and are wild and fun. If you asked me four years ago would I ever main a Worgen, let alone druid I would have been lolno, but damn. Good times. We all need bears in our life. And trees. The reason I chose Worgen female is because they look unique, sound manly and look pretty dope in gear -- and the name only truly fits a Worgen, one who already shapeshifts as a human. And speaking of, I snapped a photo in human form too.

 

 

Next up they need a hide bracers.

Warlocks are pretty boss. I see a lot of them topping damage in bgs and their mitigation is sick. They hard to kill.

Back on nights doing my new job. Feels good to be in charge of my own area and not have to be moved and answer to everyone.

The $1 increase is good too. I'm now making over $21/hour and I guess that's pretty good for the region I live in. I can live with it anyways. Well, have been.  I want to commit to buying a house but don't want to settle for a cheapie.  Maybe after marriage. One thing at a time, eh? Oh well. Life isn't too bad.

Yeah Warlock was my WoD main. Might put my off for an expansion though.

I'm still trying out spec changes on all my toons. I might finish getting my Shaman and Rogue to 100 sometime soon just to be on the same page as everything else.

Going to research old quests to find good mog  gear. It's going to be boring.

There are often times I feel ignored or invisible both offline and online. There's no reason to beat yourself up. There are going to be people who, no matter what action you take, that you rub off the wrong way. Just as there are people who rub you the wrong way.

 

 

Important thing is to be yourself and don't look for everyone's approval. If you think you're annoying, you very well might be. I think I'm a sarcastic dick, and it's very true. I'm not about to change that fact to please everyone. The trick is to find ways to be more appropriate and friendly with it, and to know when to really censor yourself. Or just plain shut up. Nobody likes hurt feelings.

 

And to answer your question, Ragtime, no. I've been on forum boards for 10+ years and I've seen far worse "annoying" people than you. Forum politics can get ugly but from my experience most of it isn't personal at all. Some people just want to spark an argument for debate. Or be dicks just to be dicks. Things can get taken out of context real quickly as it's hard to convey feelings with text.

 

And just to throw it out there, there isn't a single person on this site I dislike. It's part of the reason I stuck around.

In the two plates foiled up is taco dip, my woman's favorite snack.

In the pitcher is cherry kool-aid. Because hell yeah.

Above the pitcher is fresh Wisconsin cheese curds, from the Ellsworth creamery.

In the white box next to the pitcher is 'fancy' costly chocolates from our local historic mall.

The black bottles are Budlight's Hurricane cocktails. Nasty. I keep them for guests.

In the door you can make out most of the cond. crap. Oh, and half empty booze bottles.

Behind the sandwich meats on top is glider hard food, and the applesauce is also for gliders.

Drawers are cheeses and veggie stuff.

The girlfriend went to Montana this past weekend. As a man I didn't do much grocery shopping but I can tell you that I practically killed a Giant Size box of Lucky Charms over the weekend alone as a meal filler.

Cereal for the win!

So I came home one morning this week and found a wild turkey in my yard. This was the only photo I could get while he was in neighbor's yard before flying off. Rare sight this part of town.

 

 

Damn wild turkeys trying to knock down my shitty wall.

IDK what your complete routine is. But I start my work day with an iced coffee. A tall one from a Caribou Coffee mug I bought. When that's empty I rinse it out and fill with water. I have Mtn. Dew on both my breaks. Water in between. The only time I ever do Monster is if I'm working on less than 3 hours of sleep, then I substitute a Dew for it. Or if I'm working a shitty 12 on 5 hours.

 

I'm the candy man at work. I literally bring a lunch bag full of candy in. Dum Dums, Jaw Breakers and Lifesaver Mints are my usual poison. Aside from that I separate my cold stuff and put that in the fridge (obviously) and keep dry food with me for mid-break snacking. That's usually pop tarts, chewy granola bars, sometimes Little Debbies and Sara Lee stuff.

 

The only thing I can suggest that is common practice around here (my gf is customer service/desk) is WALKING on your breaks. The office ladies at my last job would walk around an entire bay at work like 5 times which was calculated to be over a mile. It helps give them exercise and keep the blood flowing. Keep you limber and awake. The trouble is you're never moving. You need to walk as much as you can, we're not designed to remain seated. Obviously you got to eat too. It would help to cereal before work, muffin and shit like that at your desk to get you by. Dinner when you get home. Hope that helps.
