Having seen it and gotten to use it a little I can honestly say it is a bit of an upgrade. The 3d is actually useable, and it tracks your eye movement to keep it 3d from your perspective rather than you having to hold it at exactly the right place to get the 3d effect to work properly like the previous 3ds.
Basically it is the 3ds that should have been released to begin with instead of making the 3d a gimmick like they did previously.
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me-- and there was no one left to speak for me.

Neat handheld.
Just a shame I don't have any intention in forking over more money, since I literally bought two 3Dses in the last 2 years. Both a small red one, and the Link Between Worlds 3DS XL.
Maybe when I actually have a stable income/nothing better to play.
