With a new season out, I think we need a discussion for all who enjoy the Game of Thrones series.

The season 3 premiere was great! Though, it felt so short and I could have done without the nipple scene. And Dany's dragons look great! They're half the reason I watch the show. The other half is just the sassiness of the Lannisters.

Personally, I thought it could have been more interesting, but it seems they've skipped forward a bit in time, and I'm sure that was setting everything up.

I think it was overall a decent episode. Good setup for next episode to be very good. Also Selmy was supposed to smash the manticore with a staff, not stab it!
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me-- and there was no one left to speak for me.

Without the nipple scene?
Blasphemy!

The nipple scene wasn't really neccesary, but I think it's part of how Game of Thrones is. Nudity, blood and violence.

The nipple scene WAS necessary, to complement the idea of how loyal and obedient the Unsullied (the army of slave soldiers) were.
Comparing to all the other episodes, I think it wasn´t a scene as shocking as all of you say...at the end of the day, it is Game of Thrones, and violence, blood, etc, will always be present..
nope. not even a signature.

I watched two episodes the other day.
Then I finished the whole first season. Now I can't stop watching
I think I have a new favorite fantasy series.

It does have that pull to it eh?
When I watched the first few episodes I thought it was alright, then I watched a few more, then I relised it was three in the morning and I had watched two seasons.
It has that lore appeal that people like us just can't resist.
It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

That, and I love the characters.
Don't necessarily love what happens to 'em, but I love most of the characters.
They feel like people, people who live in the Westeros/Essos
[what a strange concept]

I watched all three seasons in like two weeks and it took me about 3 months to read all the books after that and now all I can do is wait for the new season to come out.. even thought I honestly would prefer the next book -.-'
