Okay so mumble is like a chat program like skype! Accept you set up a room/server and you can create other rooms/server within a room/server. One problem is that either you need to go through all that trouble creating it or pay for it monthly! I would really like to have a Nerd Forum mumble because you would more about the people you are talking to and make connections <3. I don't know what you will think about this but it would be fun I think. (:

We have a mumble server, nobody uses it, so we don't keep it up.

I mean, anyone can run the Mumble server on their comp. We just don't do it anymore because... nobody really uses it...

Skype call sounds like a good alternative. It's there when we need it, and our infrequent use doesn't really merit a 24/7 server.

I always forget to buy a mic, then I remember that Macs come with microphones.
Not saying it's high quality, but it works in a pinch.

I think Skype would be better, as it's on an as-needed basis. The only problem I see is that people might be discouraged by the difference in age
