What's the difference between an intel 4 Ghz processor and an AMD 4Ghz processor?

Depends entirely on which CPU's your comparing, just knowing the Ghz rating of a CPU doesn;t mean anything in terms of performance. Are we talking a 4Ghz AMD Athlon/Phenom? 4GhZ i7?
