It's a novel by HP Lovecraft, which was not published in his lifetime.
I just read the graphic novel version as illustrated by a fellow by the name of Jason Bradley Thompson. It was flipping brilliant!

Anyone familiar with this piece?

Also, random Lovecraft fanfulness. I know I'm a fan.
I don't think he needs to be immortal. I think all he needs to do is to write the right story. Because some stories do live forever.

I've not heard of it. What's the general premise?

A guy dreams of a beautiful city, and he becomes obsessed with it. So when he stops dreaming about it, he seeks out the home of the gods, Unknown Kadath, in the dream world, in order to demand that he be allowed to dream of his city again.
On the way he has to contend with horrible man-eating monsters from the moon, and ghouls, and night-gaunts, and a whole bunch of other monsters. Including NYARLATHOTEP, THE CREEPING CHAOS.
I don't think he needs to be immortal. I think all he needs to do is to write the right story. Because some stories do live forever.

Here's a link to the Kickstarter page: http://www.kickstart...nd-other-storie
They've got a great video about it at the top.
