Interesting read. I'd like to see more on it, since I think it'll cause an uproar in the scientific community >_>

Thank you so much. This is a very interesting Article. This new theory I like better than the big bang or the string theory.

Something, anything, having no starting or end point is a bit hard for me to get my head around.
Though I suppose it is just as logical as matter appearing out of non-existence and bursting forth in to this new space.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth..
Then he created light, and three days later created the sun, which seems like a funny order to do things.
So I am lead to believe that he did a half work week with the lights off, which might explain the shoddy workmanship.

I'm not sure if I like this theory or not. I'm so used to the Big Bang that I can't imagine anything else. If there was no big bang, what is making the galaxies drift apart?
Interesting article though. I'll have to think on it a bit more.

We need Rose to weigh in, at this point she's out resident scientist.
Honestly there isn't really much I can say on this. I read a good chunk of the journal articles this page references and short of completely understanding the equations to find flaws, the theory appears to be sound. Unfortunately it means if the theory holds ground, it removes the need for the cosmological constant which makes the superstring theories even flakier. The lack of a "big bang" though, in my mind, makes sense that it goes hand in hand with the removal of a cosmological constant.
I never put much stock in the idea of The Big Crunch, that once the expansion stops the universe snaps back into what is was. That theory creates too many assumptions, such as we are an enclosed system. I always figured the end of the Universe would be caused by heat death, but there are so many hypothesis to the end of the universe.
Because I can...

Nothing scientific where?
And there are trees older than all of creation according to those numbers.

Nothing scientific there. All creation is only about 6000 years old. The big bang has not happened yet but it will. 2Peter 3:10
