Local corporate chain called Hannaford, mostly. Why do you ask?

A walk in beer freezer, a wine bar, a sushi bar, an oyster bar, a wood fire oven for pizza, they make their own chocolate and fudge..and just so much more.
Only thing I'm going to miss about living in Chicago.
That and the skyline at night.

Why do you ask?
Just for fun. I wanted to know which ones have the best quality items, cheaper prices, and good customer service. I decided to create a thread to help people decide what grocery stores are the best, even though it is a matter of opinion.

Oh, okay. Yeah, mine is super-friendly and tends to have good quality stuff. Fresh, organic selection, etc. We only enter VoldeMart if we have no other choice for a specific item.

In England - Sainsbury´s
In Germany - Globus (for a German Super-Market a very nice selection of spices and stuff, and their assortment of different brands of scotch is actually not to be scoffed at)
Just for a better understanding - in Germany there are exactly 7 different ways to season something - salt, pepper, no salt, no pepper, no salt but pepper, salt but no pepper
and ultimatly : salt and pepper xD

In England, Tesco's. Bog standard stock everything you could ever need and it's not too expensive.
In America they had a place in Missouri called something like Nature Barn...I dunno, Otter will know the name. Really good organic food, good quality and wide selection of stuff most American supermarkets don't even stock.

In Canada, we got Sobeys and they're ok because I live like a two minute walk from one, also I get 10% off my food on Tuesdays because I'm a student so that's good.

I like this Chinese supermarket in London Ontario because it always has the coolest vegetables and an amazing selection of sauces and such for cooking with.

Which one? I'm only a few blocks away from an Asian supermarket (used to be a bowling alley) but I haven't gone in it yet.

I can't remember the name of it, may have to get back to you on that one.
I don't think it was a bowling alley at any point though.

That seems like a bit of a trek to make out of boredom.
Though I suppose I have gone on two day hikes when I had nothing else to do, so maybe it isn't so much.
The Covent Garden Market is pretty sweet.
My fiancee actually works right near by, across the street from the stadium.
Which means that three of us, and my fiancee, were within probably about a 30km circle of one another.
And I agree with idk.
Next time we could totally meet up somewhere and totally not in a rapey kind of way.

It's honestly only a two hour drive depending on traffic on the Peace Bridge. It really isn't that crazy haha. And I like the area so it was worth it.
That's crazy that we were probably all in the same area.
Next time I head there I will let you guys know. That would be cool to meet up.
And thank you for noting that it wouldn't be in a "rapey kind of way," that made me giggle.
