#106665 2020 Elections

Posted by Capsicum Annuum on 20 February 2017 - 11:33 PM in Everything Else

Who do you think will/should win all the elections in 2020. I know it's a long time from now, but it's very fun to speculate. I have the following prediction:

Australia:

Andrew Barr wins another term.

Spain:

Pablo Iglesias wins against Mariano Rajoy.

United Kingdom:

Queen Elizabeth II has died and Prince Charles is now king. England selects Jeremy Corbyn to be the new prime minister.

United States:

Very hard to tell. The only ticket I see as a winner against Donald Trump is a Roy Cooper and Tulsi Gabbard one. Elizabeth Warren would lose the general election and perform very poorly.

It's just a personal prediction thread. All I said was that it was fun to speculate. I never said this was serious. If all of you said that a guy named Salmon should be the king of Saudi Arabia, then I would be ok with it.

If Prince Charles is next in line after the Queen, I wonder what the new national anthem will sound like.

I didn't know what it was until I saw this thread. I guess you learn something every day. I had a look at some of the videos. They didn't relax me. All they did was either creep me out or make me horny.

I also don't see anything bad about women wanting to show off their fit bodies. The problem is that the men don't want to. I'm not gay or anything, but if these men are at the beach, then why can't they take their shirts off?

I don't know why it's like that in the Olympics, but I know for a fact they don't wear shirts in the AVP matches. What difference does it make anyway? It's just a sport.

Hey, Spleen. Is Banana a bot? If so, can we please keep it?

It was established long ago that 96bananathing is either an extremely meta bot or a sockpuppet. An hd beach volleyball video game? Sounds a lot better than playing the 1984 game on atari.

Since 3raser is consistent in mentioning that beach volleyball is too controversial and because I want to get my mind off of a ridiculous holiday, enlighten me. What is wrong with discussing beach voleyball?

I'm pretty sure they can wear whatever they want. Men wear less than that in diving, so I don't see a problem with what women wear in b.v. If they are proud of what their bodies look like, then why shouldn't they be allowed to show it off? That's like saying I have to be forced to wear a shirt when I swim.

Btw, I just don't celebrate Easter. No problem with anyone else celebrating it.

Have you ever been picked on, bothered, or even lost a physical fight with someone just because? Share your stories here. I would share one of mine, but I just... have too many to choose from. I want to make sure I'm not alone in this, and I didn't want to clog up the Depression Thread.

Need For Speed: Most Wanted is definitely something I need to buy. It is listed at the top of the list for best racing games on thetoptens.com. I will also give Double Dash a shot. I have never actually played any Mario Kart games, just Mario games. I used to play Crash Bandicoot a long time ago. Are they similar to that?

Need For Speed Underground 2 is still the best racing game.

Are the other Need For Speed games worth a try too? Like Most Wanted or Carbon?

Does F-Zero have any sort of plot?

According to Wikipedia, it doesn't, but I might give it a try anyway because I really need some more GameCube games.

Hmm... It seems like I tried SMB on the Wii. Not sure how it is on GameCube, but I guess I could check out all the games you both listed. Just running out of things to play in general. I keep winning all my games to fast.

Does anyone know of some good racing games with a plot?

#106967 Chaotic Countries

I know what Wikipedia is, but contrary to popular belief, it doesn't have an article on everything. There are a few things about certain countries that I still don't understand. Australia - Is gun ownership allowed whatsoever? Why is same sex marriage so divided? North Korea - Why does their leader hate every other country and his own people? U.K. - Had the UKIP ever won any elections? Why is Northern Ireland separate from regular Ireland? U.S. - What is wrong with rewriting a 300 year old constitution?

What do you all have planned? I'm going to get drunk and try to eat at least five tacos.

It's a bit tough in Canada.

The cold Northern breeze makes losing an eye a very real possibility when it comes to half nude women wandering about.

It's not a holiday for me but I will still be throwing beads at semi-nude women today.

I wonder if it would work for Cait to try and throw beads at half naked women.

#106454 Clothing Optional

No one is wearing shoes?

I will admit that I absolutely despise the idea of socks. They tear too easily and they feel like straight jackets on my feet. There is just no purpose in wearing socks.

#104389 Comedy

Depends what you're into. There is a huge variety.
Sex comedy?
Slapstick?
Dark comedy?
Buddy comedy?
Feel good/slice of life?
Horror?
Action?
Parody?
I could recommend movies all night but would be more helpful if you can narrow down your favorites. Got any examples?

Just a comedy that I most likely have not seen before. If I had to pick three of those, I would say action, feel good, &
Slapstick. I really prefer older movies. I like some horror comedies too though. Do you know of any movies like this that I most likely have not seen?

I have also never heard of Culver's. I guess it's just a Midwest thing.

I wish Disney World still had Star Wars dance-offs.

#104784 Disney

Who is your favorite Disney princess?

My personal favorite is Jasmine from Aladdin.

#104810 Disney

Posted by Capsicum Annuum on 23 November 2016 - 04:31 PM in Misc. Movies and T.V.

Leia. I mean, technically Star Wars IS Disney now.

That means Padme is also a Disney princess. If Thor and the Hulk are princesses, then we might as well mention Clint Eastwood as one of my favorite Disney princesses. I still stand by Jasmine because she has a tiger for a pet.
