I think you'll find that most people don't "choose" homosexuality. It is an innate quality. Also this has literally nothing to do with sexuality. It's about gender and gender roles.

Also the only people I've heard who are in any way mad about this are the narrow-minded who just enjoy getting mad at everything. The rest of us shrug and move on.

I won't say "classic" because that's a title that's up for debate, but what are some older TV shows you enjoy? Like, 1999 and before. 

I've been rewatching Reboot on Tubi. The visual quality is outstanding. This show still holds up.
