Decent graphics, decent controls, few glitches, and a decent plot. As long as a game has that I can overlook any nitpicks I have about it.

In a game for like a console, I look for something that is innovative and refreshing. As for computer games, I want the old familiar character who levels, make choices, gain new abilities and a decent plot/backstory. 

Speaking as someone who went through this with a few different friends I would have given my life for, the only thing to do is put up a big "FUCK YOU!" and find something else to focus on.

 

It was hard as fuck for me personally to let go of the YEARS of shit we'd all been through, and the stupid shit that brought it to an end (and I mean stupid), but the best thing I can offer is perspective: Look at that girl as a malignant tumour. The sooner you amputate and cauterize that shit, the sooner you will be a happier, healthier and not-dead person.
