Does anyone do it anymore?

I remember the days of user made Yahoo! chat rooms. Role-playing back then was the best (and the worse.) I tried to get back into it, whether it was joining a role-playing forum or trying to find people on WoW. It seems to not be out there anymore.

Has any one had better luck?
