Never tried it, but I don't see lots of benefits in its legalization beyond medicinal extractions (like cannabidiol). Don't care much about social uses, though.

In general, my pockets contain only paper tissues and my phone. So, purse:

Wallet (with ID, money, that sort of thing)
Lip balm
Paper tissues (my cold is never-ceasing)
Hair clips
Change
Bus card
Headphones
Books (it's always my current readings, except for A clash of kings. It's not convenient to take it everywhere)
Keys
Calculator (Casio. It's not just a brand anymore)
Emergency/hygiene kit (a little towel, toothbrush and toothpaste, a roll-on, medicines, propolis spray, sunscreen, a soap and tampons)
And always a water bottle.
