So let's say we make contact with aliens, except they see us in the same anthropological sense that we see tribes deep in the rain forest and such. What would be really hard to explain to them?
Stuff humans do that would be hard to explain to aliens

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me-- and there was no one left to speak for me.

Maybe they would be confused by how we breathe oxygen and expel carbon dioxide and think it is terrifying that we drink H2O.
Those things could be entirely toxic to them and we would look like unstoppable poison consuming monsters.
Or perhaps they would not understand how we flap a piece of carbon based matter at one another in order to disturb molecules in the air causing vibrations to enter a hole in the side of our head and be measured by another tinier piece of carbon based matter, then we somehow comprehend what those vibrations were meant to convey and responded in turn.
That is of course if they were even capable of perceiving us in any way in the first place.
We might be on another level of existence or one dimension off, making us entirely undetectable.
It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

So says the person whose drink when spilt peeled paint away from a wall. >_>The concept of alcohol. It is poisonous to us but we consume it in large quantities anyways. They would think the majority of our species were suicidal.

the obvious answer here is to restrain spleen from spilling my drink >.> I still love that I was the one drinking and he was the one who couldn't spin a die without flinging my glass. So says the person whose drink when spilt peeled paint away from a wall. >_>

Picking my nose
I'm sure an advanced alien species has some grasp on the concept of grooming.

I think our commonly used euphemisms
such as "bae" would confuse them,
as our entire language is filled with them, consistently changing according to the time.
Of course, our entire language would confuse them, unless they are technologically advanced enough to translate our language
in such a manner that they can understand what we are saying at al times.

I don't think language really counts, hell the English language easily confuses non-native speakers, or even native speakers from different countries.
I love when they subtitle British people on American TV.
