I could totally see myself buying MtG cards for drawing references, i likely wouldn't play though because I'm terrible at MtG.
They do have some incredible artwork though..

He has a black and white and red play mat he's selling that would look pimp with my deck.

I saw that and wondered what it was made out of, it looks like it would make a pretty kickass large mousepad if its durable enough

As far as I've seen, yes they're just larger mouse pads.
I actually have a high sensitivity mouse so I use a very tiny pad, but as a play mat it'd be neat.
At any rate I'm loving the art and missing playing mtg!
