I plan on installing it, I can always revert to 7 with my hard copy.

Okay, so they did give away free copies. Did anyone else get in on that? If so do you know if you can upgrade whenever or is it like when it's available your pc automatically updates?

I assume it would be a Window's Update but I could be mistaken, or there could be a link to claim the copy via how you signed up.

One of my work colleagues has it on his laptop. It looks pretty good. The start menu is, indeed, back - you'll be happy to know. Nice and quick on an SSD. But I still prefer OS X. Although I'm not to keen on the name for the new 10.11 release coming up. I mean OS X El Capitan. Sounds like a Mexican food product (no racism intended) but Mountain Lion, Snow Leopard are really cool names. El Capitan is just weird.

After installing it I immediately ripped my computer apart and put it in a new case. So far so good though.

Ummm.. This should be an easy thing to include or just answer right now. How big is the jump from Win7 to 10? Is it easy to pick up? I just remember all the complaints that win8 got from some win7 users I knew.

It's super easy. If you're comfortable with 7, you'll be good with 10.

That's weird.. I got the Sims Ultimate Collection when they were giving it away for free, and I had the usual bugs,
Like, black boxes for shadows, serious lag, graphic tearing, and some other stuff.
