I can only assume he was a favoured uncle, due to the sharing of his funeral.
My condolences Madame Benihime, we await your return and sharing.
It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

Yep. He was the middle brother on my dad's side. And the last surviving brother.
Lung cancer finally got him.

That is very unfortunate.
I know a few people who were afflicted with lung cancer as well, some of which never smoked a day in their life.
It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

It was at the Emken-Linton funeral home.
& thank you.
The service itself was really short, but nice. The really cool thing was meeting all of his friends and seeing my aunt and meeting my cousins.

Condolences. My great uncle, for whom I was named, died when I was five or six. I didn't understand grief then. Sad, really.
