So, here's the deal ladies and gents. I've found myself in a bit of a rut lately, and I'm having a hard time finding something to occupy my time.

Normally when this happens, I find something nifty to build and this time around I'd like to use that to contribute to the forum. Find me something to make, and if possible I'll build it and record the steps, hopefully making it easier for someone else to follow suit.

Hmm. Lizardmen would be fun, but you know what would be better? Lizardwomen

I know damn well what the site could use them for, and so do you.

(Anime for this has been hinted at just a few weeks ago. It'll be the shit.)

Make a nixie clock? :3

I think the problem is cold cathode display tubes can be a bit expensive these days.

It's a half baked idea I haven't thought through entirely and I'm not sure if it's possible, but I've wanted to try to make a mini quadcopter with an Arduino by buying some cheap flying toys, tearing off their propellers, and sticking them on some servos or something. I'm just not sure how big the propellers would need to be to generate enough lift to pick up the board, motors, and an external power supply, my guess is kinda big. I still might try this next work term when I have more time.

I don't think they'd have to be too big. Something like this I imagine it what you'd be pulling apart; http://www.amazon.co...mini helicopter

The motor in it is probably about the size of the motors in this, and you can see there's a pretty big size difference on the propellers http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/f2a2/

When I was a kid I always wanted to make a remote control Back To The Future DeLorean so I could send my Batman figurine back in time before I broke his leg.

If you could…. you know… invent time travel that would be really dope.

But making a replica would also suffice.

Just models made of metal. They're about $50 from The Warehouse (NZ equivalent to Wal-Mart)

If only I could weld. I would attempt .

But I also suck with electronics so making a display model would be the only option.

Monster Musume. It had a cult following in Japan and the English version of volume one hit number one on the Times best seller list when it was released. Miia best girl.
