Now why do they sound familiar... I'll definitely have to look them up. Have you heard of horse the band? They lean more towards the hardcore/metal side of things but their keyboardist uses nintendo sounds and a lot of their songs are about nintendo stuff. Awesome music to play games to haha.

I've been really digging chiptunes lately, though it really makes people furrow their brows when I try to explain it. I've never looked into a specific artists, i just find a 2 hour block on Youtube and listen away.
