I'm attempting to design and build a large stroller for an adult, aprox. 5'2', 190 lbs. For structure, I'm thinking PVC, but I'm not entirely sure where to go from there.
Can you guys help me here?

Is this for a prop or for practical use? If it's for practical use, why not just use a wheelchair?
Anyway, how about taking a wheelchair as a base and adding some stroller like things to it? At least then, you don't have to worry about the weight so much.

just buy one of those 'lil rascal mobile scooters and put a canopy on it.

The wheelchair idea might come in handy...
It is for a practical purpose. I know someone who regresses sometimes, and he'd love to have someone take him out for a walk in a stroller.

You now officially have my attention.
I do not wish to pry, but could you elaborate on this fellow?
It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

The individual in question is very close to me and has a very long, dark history of abuse. He has found coping mechanisms in various ways, one of which being to regress to a childlike form and be cared for in such a way. His child self (of about 4 years old) likes different things and acts very differently than his adult self. It's similar to dissociative identity disorder, but different in that it can sometimes be at-will, and both sides are conscious of each other. It is still the same person, just much younger.
The stroller idea has been mentioned wistfully a few times.

I have actually seen a few things on tv about people who have similar situations.
I find it interesting how the brain will go to extraordinary lengths to protect itself from trauma.

That fact that he is still alive amazes me.
