its been two weeks. I fear the worse. Scumbags down there. Meanwhile we are in the middle east doing god knows what.

Thanks. I've heard this is common and that they will drive you around to ATM machines until you're funds are gone. Then get rid of you. Since it has been over two weeks the authorities have toned down the search. I wish we would do something about that shit hole country.

Good luck with someone finding him. I used to travel to mexico a lot as a kid, but it's just not safe on the border anymore.

This is why i dont want to travel. Instead of blowing up villages for oil in the middle east we should be looking at making places safer.

Since he's armed forces it was most likely the cartel. It happens all the time around here. If no ransom has gone out, it probably is the worst case. :\

I'm glad people are pushing to do something.  At least find out where his body is so his family can be at peace.  As far as I am concerned it should be considered an act of war when you kidnap a citizen.

FBI thinks that he still may be alive, apparently the kidnappers may have been answering his cell phone? But have not made any requests.
