I'm kinda curious.... Has anyone else besides me done any music?

Better yet.... SHOW THE ROB$TAR YOUR BEST/FAVORITE/PROUDEST SONG YOU HAVE DONE or had a significant role in.....

Note: I'm not really into instrumentals unless you are Nobuo Uematsu or at that level at least....

I really can't stand screamo stuff unless you are Linkin Park or Escape The Fate....

Here's the first song I ever did. It's not my most popular but it's basically what got me into rapping in the first place. It holds a dear place in my heart. lol

I'm real open to most music, I like listening to music with lyrics because i like hearing stories....

SHOW ME THE MUSIC NF!!!!!!

Really open to most music, but not instrumentals, which is what music is.

Strange.

Without instrumentals, music is just poetry.

without moody rhythm, poetry is just talking.

I have always been busy doing other things.

Like reading great works of literature (and some not so great ones), becoming more efficient at my own language and a few others, becoming a journeyman cabinetmaker, writing until something impressive pours out of me, and establishing a small business.

Very lame.

I would have thought some of ya would have done a shameless song. It's just that nearly everyone on here writes short stories and stuff.

I have no talent for music, just lyrics. I've helped out a few friends in the past, but nothing major enough that I take any credit for.

I don't really have a mind for lyrics, but I've done mockup albumart for a few local bands back home, and did a couple (unreleased) mixes and tunes in FL Studio just for chuckles. never got serious.

I want to
But I'm very... I supposed embarressed with my voice.
Coupled with the fact that I am terrible with a guitar, my teacher sucks... and I'm my teacher.

So guess it boils down to - It takes too much effort to sound good, so meh.

Because I can...

Ive written songs but as an Audio Engineer I criticize myself way to much to keep anything I have recorded and mixed. Same as any Manga I draw or basically anything artsy.

Maybe one day I won't dislike my end result and I'll keep it and upload it but that day is likely to be far away. I don't have a problem helping people with their work but my own is a different story. :-/

Just be shameless people!!!!!! I've made heaps of crappy songs lol. But I still release it, what might make one person cringe would make another smile.... :)

I'm pretty critical of my voice, it's unusually high for someone my age. But I normally just forget about it and go hard on the mic!!!!

In response to the title of this thread: YES I HAVE.

I've got music but on terrible recording gear and the sixth string on 2 of my 3 guitars with strings on have snapped. The third guitar hasn't had its strings changed since I was 7 so I don't think I'll be uploading anything. I did recently teach myself:

The Mariner's Revenge - The Decemberists

Oh Hey - The Lumineers

Leper Lord - Death in June

Third Planet From the Sun - Modest Mouse

Wild Pack of Angry Dogs - Modest Mouse

The Opening Theme From Pokemon

Can't You See - Black Stone Cherry [version]

ohoh and Rocky Road to Dublin - Dropkick Murphys, fuck me is that fun to play.

plus a couple of things of my own creation. So, like a sort of audial museum, you can look, but never hear.

HELL YEAH!!! UPLOAD THAT SHIZZLE!!!!

I'm not to big on quality. in fact a hobo dude plays a 3 stringed guitar in town, and he makes it sound pretty decent too.

I haven't made my own song, but I did do a cover of a song from Fullmetal Alchemist:

http://www.youtube.c...h?v=VAEdTp8IbpY A little embarrassing because that's like 15 year old me, but yeah.

That was actually pretty sweet. Had a pleasant vibe to it. Would be awesome to hear you attempt the Lugia song in the 2nd Pokemon Movie.

Okay so I found this, my electric guitar has all its strings now so I might upload a cover of some BSC, Led Zep or Nitin Sawhney if I have a moment, =)

At the very least everyone can get a laugh out of my singing. xD

Awesome. I love Led Zep, grew up on Zeppelin VI.

Your voice is a lot deeper then I thought. Your guitar also sounds really deep like it's in drop D.

I thought you were British? You sound Russian XD

You would suit Johnny Cash covers bro, look into it.

Very interesting, thanks for sharing your art!!!!!!

I play drums, but I have no decent recording equipment and brothers who insist on breaking every hi-hat I get.
