Ohkay, so there was a band out of Oakland, CA, by the name of Sleepytime Gorilla Museum. They were flipping amazing.
But sadly, after making three of the most amazing albums ever (In Glorious Times still ranks to be among my favorite albums of all time) the Museum went their separate ways.
BUT
Several of the members have re-formed into a NEW thing! A thing which bears the name Free Salamander Exhibit!
I am unspeakably excited about this, and you should be too!

I don't think he needs to be immortal. I think all he needs to do is to write the right story. Because some stories do live forever.

Heeeeey I remember you showing me these guys a while ago, and me promptly forgetting about everything but their name having something to do with monkeys. My bad, gorillas. Will investigate!
