we just enjoy running our forums a bit different (i've known spleen what six years now and helped him run a few of his forums).

if you foster a fun, light-hearted community, you tend to get better results with your posters.

I can't even go to other forums anymore, I always let my guard down, submit a low content post, get warned, say "Fuck this, I'm going to a FUN forum", and leave those picky assholes to continue their moderation circlejerk.

I find it funny how most small forums take themselves WAY to seriously. It's usually just a way for the admins/mods to live out their fucked up power fantasies.

This site = forums done right, IMO

But i've met people who actually like the picky forums, although they usually just want to be a moderator, which brings us back to the fucked up power fantasies point.
