I just started playing it, technically for the first time. Second character, but the first time I played the game crashed 3 times in less than an hour's play so I gave up. Now I'm back and it seems to work alright.

It's good fun so far. Combat's kinda simplistic, but I quite like some of the setpieces. And that bitch who sold me a busted droid is gonna get a cutting, I swear to christ

Well it is an older title, so the gameplay and mechanics are going to be a little clunky.

Plus it is a turn based battle system essentially, which is very fun, but prone to sometimes glitchy antics.

I wish I had more of a say in the combat. Maybe I'm missing something, but so far it's just click an enemy, press space, then watch to see who wins.

There is some strategy to it, but at times, especially at lower levels, there is a lot of just throwing yourself at enemies and seeing what happens.

Pretty much what I'm doing at the moment. I got a double-bladed sword so I kinda dove into the arena on Taris. Two-Fingers beat me though, lucky blaster shot for 15 damage o_o I only have 20HP so...yeah...

I always went with a lightsaber in each hand.

Very good offensive power, and it looks about as cool as anything ever could.

I have yet to unlock/acquire any form of lightsaber. I have a crapton of vibrarium (or whatever) swords though, and I'm amassing blasters by the bucketload. I tried dual-wielding for a while but it was visually a bit meh, so when I found a legitimate double-bladed sword I went nuts, and sold everything I no longer needed to buy it.

 

Then I noticed some armour for sale at 990 credits, and wept pitifully.

You will acquire a fortune as you progress, as per usual in games.

Double bladed weapons are decent too, they tend to have a strongest offense out of the lot.
