I am 78 and been involved in computers since 1960, as an engineer, consultant and performance specialist. I was involved in running the first standard benchmarks (Whetstone, Dhrystone, Linpack, Livermore Loops) on mainframes, minicomputers and supercomputers - Yes, I have personally run some on Cray 1 serial #1.
In subsequent years. I have converted these benchmarks, and written numerous other ones, to run via DOS, OS/2, Windows and Linux. Latest ones are for Android, where I have 27 benchmarking apps, including for multi-core and NEON (more than any other nerd?).
All my benchmarks are FREE with no adds and, including source codes and results, can be found via my site (or Google for roylongbottom):

Depth of nerdiness are 61 HTML reports, 11 tar.gz and 50 zip files.
If anyone can be bothered, I would appreciate more results on newer Android devices. These benchmarks each generally run in less than a minute and a Save button eMails results to me (and anyone else added). I can discuss results in this Forum (if not too many).
