I've heard many a story like this. Sometimes I'll ask one of my friends if they can give my any insight on how to solve a certain issue and by the time I explain the issue fully to them I know what I need to do.

I have rubber ducks, if you'd like to borrow one.I've heard many a story like this. Sometimes I'll ask one of my friends if they can give my any insight on how to solve a certain issue and by the time I explain the issue fully to them I know what I need to do.
I've heard that before, but have no idea what it's from.Aka 'Cone of Answers'

I don't know about cone of answers, but it always reminds me of the magic conch, which I do know about:
Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
