May I ask what made you put an age on it?

As most people like to point out "You're still young, just get over it and move on."

I don't want to affirm the heartlessness of the world but you will move on, thankfully. When my grandmother died it took me two long years to get to the point that I wouldn't cry playing music on my guitar that reminded me of her or wishing she was back. Not that I ever stop wishing that last point deep down inside. But here I am now, sitting, funnily enough...or not funnily enough, in the room she passed on...not two or three feet away, oddly comforting I think.

Rain: There's no excuse for that, I'm sorrie.
I hope you'll be able to surround yourself with people that have bigger hearts and more maturity than that.

Gol: Not to lessen what you're going through by any means..
But I feel as someone who has lost older family members due to illness and young friends due to tragedies/illnesses there is a huge discrepancy.

There's just something so heart-wrenching about losing someone at a young age that cannot be replicated.
It's just the shock because you have somewhat of a sense of invincibility at a young age, to see how quickly it can change is horrifying.

I would like to agree with you but I find some fault in what your saying in that you don't know how close I was to my Gran, I went to her house almost everyday for the first six years of my life. Once she died there was an enormous void in my life equivalent to that of losing my own mother. That being said, it was a long time ago. And my main point - that people move on, is nevertheless proved.

In case the above sounded as if I was being competitive or something, it was unintentional.

I didn't see it as a competition at all.
I can't imagine anyone making anything so terrible a competition.

I'm sorrie to hear that it was so hard for you, I'm glad you at least have the good memories of her with you still.

Personally, I've lost both.
And it, to me, was more of a tragedy when it was my friends.
It could be the difference in my ages for the losses, I'm not sure.
But I was just as close to my friends as I was my family members that had died.
Maybe it was seeing their struggles that somewhat prepared me subconsciously, with my friends.. it was very out of the blue and it broke me.

I still have the message from my friend Stephen's mother calling me on my phone, and it was a year ago now.

While it's never happened to me, I shudder at what could have been, we nearly lost a guy in his 20s because he tried to commit suicide, we, as the forum I was a part of, alerted the police and they found him. I've yet to lose a friend thank God.

Also...dreams...so I had a dream that a nuke went off once, but due to the whole non-nonsensicalness of dreamland...I just stood there and watched while I was blasted by debris and lethal radiation. XD

When my dreams don't end up depressing I normally end up in fluid transitions between 5 usual places. School. College. The streets of Corona, CA. Home. And some weird dock I've never been to.
