Similar bands...ish.
The Strokes touched 2 genres and became a third, They did rock and punk but settled somewhere in between which is generally where the 90s -> early 00s indie sound was, most of these bands are either punk or rock but sound like some of the strokes stuff (Usually the band has a similar timbre but sometimes because the singers sound similar). So if you could show me what sort of Strokes stuff you like I can make a better list maybe... but I thought I would give you a general around the same theme list. Keep in mind some of these bands don't sound like other bands on the list, but they all share qualities of The Strokes.
Please Enjoy.
