I have spent tons of money on ThinkGeek in the past. I have to say, while their selection is usually unique, most of the stuff is overpriced and often cheaply made. I wish they had a place to leave reviews because I am sure it could alleviate a lot of headaches.

To some degree I agree.
I have recieved a few things from there that are a bit on the shoddy side.
Though some things are quite sturdy and worthwhile.
I have the Chewbacca ammo bandolier satchel and it is actually made from leather with actual metal buckles and clips.
Quite sturdy and also kickass.

Here it is incase any of you haven't seen it before.

It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

I, too, must disagree.

Spleen bought me some cheap $15 headset from thinkgeek. It was well made, great usability, great sound quality.

It lasted until I ran it over with a diesel mower.

Everything else I buy from there I do research on, so I know exactly what I'm getting. I'm never disappointed, either.

I assume it is hit or miss when you shop online. However, I have received several DOA or poorly made products. I have also received things that I love.

Things that were broken or poorly made;
Digital Tape Measure. (DOA)
Van De Graff Wand. (Poorly Made - broke easily)
R/C UFO. (DOA)
Mini Cactus. (Poorly Made - fell apart)
OMG PWNIES shirt. (Came in wrong size, no return allowed)
