Scrolling through all this is almost making me sad that I'm not 8 anymore. Almost.

the stereotypes:
Ocarina of Time
Perfect Dark
007: Goldeneye
others:
Pokemon Snap (shit's legit.)
F Zero X
there are others, but I can't find them atm.
but I have 2 N64's (a launch black, and a jungle green.) and a good pile of games for when I find a living CRT TV.

I played the best games available at a friends house, but never bought in to the craze.
I owned and played my SNES straight through until PS1 came out.
It was the N64 controller that turned me right off.
They tried to be too different and everything just handled like shit.
Human hands weren't meant to use a tool like that.
It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

it was designed in mind for both people who liked movement with the Dpad, or the joystick. They also designed it for Super Mario 64 for those reasons, According to the Wikki link anyways.

now if only there were another controller that had a D-Pad AND joystick at the time...

Yeah, still stands, Nintendurr dropped the ball on that one.
