I still have an old nokia brick phone. During a bad hurricane a few years back, I was able to put my sim card in it, run it off of AA batteries, and make a call.

landmines are nothing. I have two nokia bricks laying around, plus my current unkillable flip phone. I also have access to a panasonic toughbook. I'll just toss the nokias and the toughbooks along the field and have them clear the mines for me.
