I haven't met many people who like both xbox and ps3.
Usually you are strivtly one of the other.
It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

Welcome.

got the xbox with my own money. ex girlfriend got me the ps3 for christmas in '07. the xbox was killed by skyrim in the spring and my PS3 has been bugging out with texture spikes and freezing. so I've just been playing PC games lately.
also i like some of the playstation exclusives. play station plus is great too with all the free games.

VB scales much better on a database when you have a huge number of users. IP has turned into an entire social suite though, it has a bit more to offer if you can afford the DB I/O.Invision is a pretty popular software design, but I think most of the big sites still use VB for some reason.
Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated.

Ah, I wasn't aware of that. I do know that IPB databases can get rather large though. Personally I prefer it's interface and such to VB,Welcome! Glad to see another programming nerd around.

It is older, yes. IPB has many more features from what I've seen though, unless things have changed since the last time I used vBulletin.if your talking about vBulletin I would say that they seem to have a more mature product. I remember forums using vBulletin in '03. Feature Rich too.
