Disable twitter status updates for non active users

I like that people can register with a twitter account, I'm 50/50 that your twitter status can be posted as your status here (mainly because I don't think any of our standard users use twitter, or at least don't have it linked to their account).

I don't like users that haven't been active here in the past x days cluttering up the status block.

Thoughts on this?

I feel the same way, most status updates are twitter updates of people who don't visit anymore

Edit: Looks like there's no way to independently choose between people being able to login via twitter, and their twitter things being connected to the status updates.

We have some options then.
Leave it how it is
Disable twitter login
I can just delete the updates as I see them

I'm sure there's a background process that collects it from the twitter API. I'm betting I can change the sql query to add a where clause where the last login date was within the past 7 days or so, so users who are active can continue to update status via twitter but one time users won't continue to show up unless they become active again.
