Yeah, and let me know if you think of any crazy projects that I can engage in with mine. =P

I need a pecan picker robot. I have a pretty good idea on how to build one if I had a controller. >.>

That is why some people have children.
Extra hands for light work.

It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

Robots *are* some people's children.

People like Spleen.

I have been told that the vendor takes forever to send them out and is highly unreliable for support or returns. Is this true at all?

It does apparently take forever to get one. Returns I'm not so sure about.

I ordered one in early November, I think. It got sent out a couple days ago according to my email.
So yeah, they take a little while.

I am now posting from my Raspberry Pi.

=D

Now I just need to figure out what the heck to do with this thing.

That's actually a lot faster time to get one than they made it seem. >.>

'bout a month? Yeah, it's not too bad, really.

I already had a phone charger, monitor and mouse, too. ^__^
I'll have to figure out some fun stuff to do with it.
If nothing else, I may be able to use it as my test computer for a hacking lab, and try to crack it with my laptop. =P

Very little. XD

Raspbian installs wicked easily, and all my devices were just plug-and-play.
It's not super fast either, but that's to be expected.

So far I'm mostly just using it to post and read forums while I watch The Guild.

Also, weirdly, raspbian comes with three web browsers.
I have no idea why.

I don't think the people who make Raspberry Pi are that diabolical. <___<

Heh, I was just looking through the Pi Store (consequently, I haven't encountered anything on the Pi store that actually costs money, yet.) and I guess there's an app for using your Raspberry Pi to operate an RC Car.
That's hilarious!

And also, makes Spleen's pecan picking robot more plausible. >____>

Seriously though, I'd love to see what you could do with robots and raspberry pi. XD

I'm tempted to do some of that myself. It'd be kinda fun.

I imagine quite a bit could be done given the proper knowledge.
