Looks legit, excited to try it out.
Yeah I used to be against F2P FPS. I played COD since I was young and into the Halo universe as soon as it came out. So I guessed F2P was shitty but after playing Blacklight I think differently.

Alot of mainstream modern shooters have been reinforcing the "One man army" playing styleYeah I used to be against F2P FPS. I played COD since I was young and into the Halo universe as soon as it came out. So I guessed F2P was shitty but after playing Blacklight I think differently.
If we make the beta we should SO play together. O.O One thing I miss about Halo and COD is team players. Only a few people who I've played with on Blacklight know the meaning of the word team.
It's kinda an abstract of the traditional singleplayer mindset, with just you [and possibly some unreliable flaky AI] you often end up being a force of nature, to balance the fact that you're facing hundreds of enemies.
The mechanics have to reward [or sometimes, force] players for working together, or else you get a group of 16-32 [in MAG's case, 256] players going on murderous rampages. Most modern mechanics reward an individual's performance, so in most player's eyes as long as the team isn't holding you back, they serve no purpose but to match the other team's numbers.
If you're looking for team-based gameplay, I'm sure you've tried games like Left 4 Dead, just try games with similar mechanics[if you want REALLY similar, play PAYDAY: the heist]. PvE games are pretty much all team-based. PvP team-based games would be to the tune of Counterstrike and Team fortress, where your team is vital to any one player's power.
Looking forward to Warface's PvE
