In the last six weeks I've seen four friends. Oddly enough I don't mind too much that the holidays are drawing to a close...

I only really socialize when drunk. It makes things so much easier.

Though I took my god-daughter to the park with her mom yesterday, that was fun.

I don't mind socialising sober, but it's just such effort to go and make arrangements to see people. I'm a lazy cunt after all.

It does take effort. Sometimes it's good though. But easier when drunk because everything's already set up. xD

She's 5 months old. Cutest little bugger ever.

yeah.... people suck. I tend to just start blabbering about whatever is on my mine, which I find nobody cares about. its usually either my code, or I wrote something, theoretical physics. I have actually had people fall asleep on me

Every blue moon I'll get restless/bored as Hell and decide to leave the cave with the ambition of acquiring these friend things that people in outside world talk about. Then, within 30 minutes of being out wherever, I remember that the reason why I never seek new friendships is because the great majority of people in the world annoy the shit out of me. So, I'll go back in the cave until I get another random urge to "socialize".

I mean, there are some people who I can get on well with, but it's really too much effort to find them in my opinion. I have other shit to do that I care about more, so these "friends" can come find me

I only have three people who I would call a "friend" and only two who I would consider a "close friend" who I'd do anything for.

In general, people do indeed suck.

Yeah people....are shit, and mostly heartless. I've met more nicer people on the internet through forums than I have in IRL probably.

It is easier to find like-minded people with similar interests on the interent. I mean, look at this forum right here!

However, usually eveyone you meet lives really far away. At least in my experience.

Yeah, I've been lucky that once I met someone on line who I could meet in person for a brief time and she became one of my closest friends. Most internet friends live in US or continental Europe however...
