So, one of my friends shared this earlier on the glorious site that is facebook, and I found it highly interesting.

http://www.16persona...nfp-personality

That is the result I got, and I think it really suits me to a T. It's pretty frustrating how many people I know that don't seem to get me at all, or misunderstand my empathy for me being into them, haha.

I'm curious to see what everyone else gets, and if anyone gets the same thing as me! ^^

I took the test out of curiosity.

I pretty much landed where I expected I would.

It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

I got INFP, but I've gotten INTJ on another one before as well. Honestly I think my answers vary a little depending on my mood.

Apparently I am ENTP

Which on the second sentence is pretty accurate for me, I like to debate everything, always looking for someone to question me when I say something.

Because I can...

Nice! ENTP's are fun to be around. :D

Yeah, a few things felt varying for me too...

I love people like that. I think it's fun to argue as long as you're being respectful... though many people seem to just insist they are always correct.

I've taken this sort of test twice and both times came up INTJ.

Though by the nature of the test you will generally come out exactly how you expect since you are answering questions based on how you think you would approach situations.

If that makes any sense.

Blahh, Jungian nonsense. I remember this stuff from psych class. It varies because it's not set in stone like your astrology sign. A Virgo can't become a Leo even if they really want to talk to that cute girl.

This test just shows your tendencies, in what way you are likely to deal with situations. If you scored as an ESTP you can still deal with a situation as a INFJ would.

Also, Briggs and Myers were idiots. Not only was Jung a psychiatrist, which I can't respect very much, he believed in magic. He was a pointy hat and magical broom away from being an alchemist. His collective unconscious theory is pretty cool if you just substitute 'genetic memory' for 'magic mind-meld between all humans.'

Finally, I am more INTJ than all of you combined. Lord Byron could have written my life, except with more wind spirits.

I hate how one has to be introverted or extraverted.

When I took that test I knew it was going to say I'm an extravert.

But to be honest, I don't ever really feel like I fit in either.

Introvert vs extrovert is either just being around people draining your energy vs. making you feel recharged/energized. I don't really see how there could be a middle ground with that.

You don't know the half of it. ^_^

In all fairness, it is pretty admirable for anyone to have even some success digging in to the ridiculous labrynth that is the human mind.

Even if he was a wizard.

Especially if he was a wizard.

I don't generally buy in to anything that tries to categorise the individual as one thing or another.

At any given time anyone could fall in to any of those categories depending on situation.

Among friends I am absolutely the confident guy with a lot to say about anything and everything.

Among strangers I can be that way, or I can be infinitely reserved and not want to pipe up from fear of saying stupid shit and making an ass of myself.

Sometimes being around people makes me excited just to be there, and sometimes it makes me annoyed and I want to go home and sit in my dark cave for the rest of the day.

Agreed. I try to force myself into situations sometimes where I end up feeling uncomfortable... essentially to tell myself I can do it... but I really need my down time. Having to go from work to class in the city and be on the subway with all the rude people is exceptionally tiring, haha. I can see how people can change slightly with some of the other personality aspects though.

You don't know the half of it. ^_^

Sometimes I can be silly to strangers, other times I feel severely uncomfortable and want to run to the corner and hide. I get the same way as you.

I got this. It seems right. It also mentioned me having an apitude in foreign languages which is really correct. I love learning and listening on how speech patterns are different and how other languages work.

I think maybe we found a common thread, why we all have congregated on this forum. We should start an army, if we could be bothered to care.
