i would like to request a topic for 'Nerd Rants'. i find myself going overboard on topics that would be more enjoyable without my tirades trailing on for pages. can there be a rant topic in which i can berate Comcast, Stereotypes, or other people; for ruining my life? my town newspaper has a section for short rants, and some find it hard to resist reading.
i have no suggestions for moderation of said topic.

Go for it you crazy ranty bastard.
Sometimes steam needs to be let off, and as long as there are no personal attacks against fellow nerds, I see no real problem.
Obviously a new thread in the Everything Else category would cut it.
It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.
