Didn't know where else or if this would qualify for hardware. However I picked up a kindle fire and am excited about using it. Anybody got one of these or have any feedback on these?

Uhm, well..

To me, at least..

I actually want the version of Kindle right before that was released, because the thing I liked about the kindle was the screen they used because it emulated the page of a book.

When I look at my phone screen to read it hurts my eyes after a while, which is why I downloaded a screen darkener that adjusts the illumination at night.

But that being said, I have wanted a kindle for years and I sir.. am jelly.

Also, Fight Club was on sale for 25 cents the other day, if you were interested.

it was wow I missed that. Ya, I am really enjoying my fire it is really cool..............For books and all that what do I do all weekend..........I have been playing majesty on it all weekend.

Mhmm.
I'd seen a thread about it on reddit.

I purchased it for my phone since it was so cheap, might take a while to get through tho.
Small screen and the brightness I'd mentioned.

Huh, they play games now too?

Kewl.

I use my phone for games on the go tho.

For what I would use it for, the last gen would suit me better.

yep I am enjoying it and now don't have to worry about all the books I have. Can slowly start to replace them with this device and the cloud they provide you for it. Free up some physical space at my place for once LOL. The only downside that I have found..............8 gig and no expansion slots :-(. U do get a cloud drive which is nice yes but still no expandable on the device itself.

Yeah it seems like having one would be SO nice.

I don't have room for books in the first place. >.>

Ya I am running out of room for the books. I will obviously keep the books just pack them away. Something about having a physical book in your hands you know. Just this will be great for trips, camping, and all that for reading and gaming. Downside is for anything that requires networking/internet will require a wireless connection as it doens't come with 3g only WIFI
