Hi everyone, ok so I have this photo shoot coming up in a couple of months. We were asked to choose an Attack on Titan cosplay and I decided on storm, I’ve found a version that I like but I have no idea where to start lol >.<. Fabric suggestions, pattern suggestions, modifying an existing the gray jacket, cape ideas would be great help if possible . I have a sewing machine but I’m more of a newbie haha, let's just say my machine and I don't see eye to eye at times: P. Thanks in advance!

The easiest thing you can do with cosplay is try to find something already made that looks similar, and work with it to make it look more like the costume. Thrift stores are like a haven for cosplayers, you never know what you'll find there. I got some awesome adventurer style looking boots at a thrift store once.

The white pants would be easy, you could find those anywhere. The belts everywhere may be a bit difficult, that may be something you'll have to make yourself out of strips of leather and some belt buckles. The coat bit, I'd say looking for something similar at the thrift store and get it hemmed to that length. You can probably get the badges online for cheap, probably look for something like this so you can iron/sew it to the jacket http://cobheran.devi...-of-1-370987651

I saw Attack on Titan before at anime club, 5 episodes at once, it's a little too much to watch so much at once. But while I was trying to figure out who Storm was, I saw you've posted this many other places. Hope you get some more advice and it goes well! Come back and tell us how it goes later.
