I found this the other day.
I unfortunately read it very late at night and subsequently was wary of all shadows for the rest of the night.

I don't believe creepypastas, in general.

By definition they aren’t real. I do love them though. That one was a little weak.

Spoiler

That part made me laugh. Not the kitten thing itself, but the absurdity of the idea.

And I DO like the notion of a cheepypasta topic.

Even when little blurbs like this one are written poorly I tend to enjoy them.
Scary stuff is fun, and when the writer fails to deliver I simply rewrite it in my head so that it is better.

Cheepypasta is a creepypasta on a budget? Also of all the creepypastas you gotta give it to slenderman, I know people who aren't well versed in net culture who have heard of him, and some who even think it's a real legend.

Oh, I do love me some Creepypasta, although it all depends on the mindset you have when you start reading them. Starting with "well this is obviously fake" is like saying the same thing at the start of any fictional movie. Everyone /knows/ they're fake, but if you let your guard down, and just enjoy them, they spook the hell out of you.

If you haven't seen it, BEN DROWNED is a good, Majora's Mask based creepypasta, video included. [Not my fault if you never sleep again]

There's also that one Pokemon Silver creepypasta, I can't quite find it but it's spooky as hell with the right atmosphere.

I have to agree, BEN DROWNED scared the crap out of me for a few nights. And Pokemon Creepyblack was good, too. Someone even made a ROM of the game, somewhere I believe.

There was also the lost episode of Spongebob or something that was also pretty scary.

Encyclopedia Dramatica has a very good collection of creepypasta. They even have them split into sections, lengthy, awesome, stupid ones.

Yup, that's the one I think

Yeah, I forget ED has a good collection, too.

SCP's worth mentioning, but nowadays you have to sift through so much crap to find good ones

I actualy had some friends convenced the Lavender town song thing was real a few years ago. Just about a month ago, one of them told the story like he was the one who heard of it and it started spreading through our group again.

Only the Euclid/Keter ones are good. The safe ones are boring because they can be contained easily :D

Also, what if the creature in Blair Witch Project is actually Slenderman? :o
