I need to make some models for prototypes, its a work thing (nothing really particularly interesting for us but secret still, so sorry that I can not go into detail lol), fairly simple shape.

Now the guy at the printing company tells me that its too small (I made it in METERS because it was too small the last time, now it comes out right for me in C4D but again NOT for the guy at the printing facility). He is helpful, but I somehow start to doubt we speak the same binary language lol. Also while I made some things as boxes, all he sees are faces... and faces are apparently not printable as they have to be solid objects or something. :/ But I KNOW that I made rectangles...

Yes I use Blender, but I imported it into Meshlab and it "looked" right. Also in Cinema 4D its correct (Not that I use it ever, just for checking these things).

The export file he's getting may be the wrong dimensions. What program is he using to open them?

Ah and I finally come to check back here... too much work. >_>

Anyways, yes I never even thought about asking him that until tonight. I downloaded a software called netfabb (lol) and when I use "meters" in Blender it outputs the *.stl file in millimeters... so 10 meter = 10 mm. Now If I manage to get the triangles all right with this software it would be awesome. Not that I do not have anything else to do then fiddle with this &%$!

That's an odd issue. o.O

Good luck getting it to work.
